We must create a common house of the left "Interview Pouria Amirashahi, national secretary of the PS to" Charente Libre
Interview Pourrier Amirshahi, Charente Libre. He has 37 years, it is federal secretary and national secretary in the Charente. He has an uncompromising look at his party but hopeful
After the hammering of the Socialist Party in the European elections, the federal secretary in Charente Pouria Amirshahi answers our questions on the return of the national council held Tuesday evening Paris.
In 1994, Michel Rocard resigned after the defeat of the European PS. Martine Aubry would she have done the same?
Pouria Amirshahi. No. If she resigns, we come back for a mandatory conference. Six months of media exposure and the main players of games before microphones and cameras. Thereby increasing the bad image of the party when there is so much to do about the problems of France and the world. However, I concede that maintaining the post of first secretary is not a guarantee. Benoît Hamon
, you're very close, had said that he would start beating. Remains. Why?
PA He wanted to leave and I was among those who convinced him to stay. It is the sole or almost the bodies of the party who speaks normally, as Cohn-Bendit or Besancenot. He speaks clearly and directly. He had to rest. It is the future and hope for a Another PS. The National Council
which you participate Tuesday evening lasted five hours. After five hours for what, to what atmosphere?
PA We started at 300, we were more than fifty to 22 hours. I had signed up to speak. I unsubscribed after half past one. Nothing has happened. It nothing happens. We are bored in the party. That said, this conference was needed quickly to avoid fire in all directions this week. There is much talk of rebuilding and renovation. For now, it sounds hollow.
What you propose to revive the party which appears in a state of clinical death?
PA First the Socialist Party is not dead. He is seriously injured. It should be within a week of actions and gestures and concrete strengths. Must Martine Aubry calls quickly around the table Ecology Europe, the Left Front and the New Anti-Capitalist Party. This is not to make a UMP but left at least create a common home. Room for everyone but for every living room where we meet continuously.
A common house but what choice: social democracy, a Marxist left color or some other way?
PA must open up, debate it. You have to imagine an alternative model of production, another consumption model. The role of the PS or a leftist party that is not to return people to a consumer role but give them a role as a citizen. It must be practical so that people hear us, not saying we would not do better than others. Europe
ecology has 14 MEPs but neither Eva Joly, nor José Bové, among others, are Greens. The PS could open way?
PA Greens ecology with Europe, the PC with the Left Front have begun their own excess. We know what we have to do. We excel is the key. Obviously, when you hear Gerard Collomb, Mayor of Lyon, that he will vote reluctantly to European and to lecture Tuesday night in the national council, we see that there's bread on the board. Many people do not live up to their mission.
the first round of the 2007 legislative elections, candidates of the Socialist Party got over 60,000 votes in the Charente. Last Sunday 22,315 ... PA
It happened in Charente what happened everywhere. With a small consolation: our results are better than in other departments of the vast region. Our campaign may have been helpful. Even if I regret it was not stronger, than large elected are not involved or very little.
Segolene Royal is silent since Sunday, the Greens will have wings to the regional. What do you think?
PA Segolene Royal is right when she criticizes the old party. She carries a real outrage. It is a good president area not expected to act in the field of ecology. For these three reasons at least it has some advantages, both in the regional perspective as to preserve its national dimension. And even as it is now vice-president of Socialist International.

The seminar Overshoot: a method and a track after June 7
All activists and people of good will are called to reflect and to discuss proposals for the seminar Overshoot July 7, 2009.
These reflect how the left win, how to think a dynamic of enlargement to muster and all the left that wants to act.
The time has come to respect each-other, listen and learn from each other. It is also to provide a framework that will lead to a common programmatic left.

Pokemon Emerald Infinite Money Cheat
Intervention Benoît Hamon, spokesman of the Socialist Party, the National Council of 9 June
Dear Comrades,
Earlier, a comrade, his face tanned, taking me by the arm, told me "I am a Social Democrat and I think your speech was too remote from the party on left, which explains why so many voices have been displaced socialists to greens. "
I sometimes wonder why we do not respect more? Why it inflicts such rough analysis and why we do not watch reality our collective failure in the face? I wonder why, when it comes to record a failure, after three successive defeats in national elections, we are still thinking that in the battle of interpretation, there is still room for a small scratch a small victory to be carried in the aircraft? I wonder why we are still trying to drive a little closer together to strengthen a bit more yourself. I take my share. I never claimed to be exemplary, but I think what is expected of us, after a difficult campaign, is that we respected. We belong a large political group that deserves, if not we all love, respect us.
I would like to thank all the activists who, in a campaign that was not easy because we do not have anything saved, have put their pride and their feelings in their pocket. I thank these friends who have decided to campaign for the PS, some with a lot of commitment and desire, others merely out of duty because he had to work for the party.
I want to say a few words what I see after this election. We got 2.1 million votes fewer than 2004. The extreme left has collected more than 600,000 and the Greens over 1.5 million, 2.1 million in total. There is no doubt that the votes were scattered elsewhere, but essentially it is within the left that the voices were redistributed.
The question that therefore arises now is why the working classes no longer vote for us and worse, why have they taken the habit of not coming to vote?
If you want to prepare seriously in 2012, we will address this issue know there in the next three years. It is a central issue.
Objectively, the European social democracy - We all say with our words - never ceases to be in crisis. That same from its ranks came the main argument put us in knee early in the campaign. Some thought that we could campaign about the economic and social crisis, offer solutions and at the same time that President Barroso had to stay of the Commission. When
Lagarde calls for deficits related to the crisis would be set aside, which is opposed to that? Two European Socialists. On one side Joaquin Amunia Commissioner Economic and Monetary Affairs from the PSOE and the German Finance Minister Peer Steinbrueck SPD. They are companions, who on the question of the Stability and Growth - while Ms. Lagarde can not be suspicious of a major regulatory and social conversion - defending liberal orthodoxy. This crisis of social democracy are, let us not in denial. Do not be in denial because this crisis also explains why some theories that we have advanced together in the Party of European Socialists - whatever our current membership or another - have not been heard.
For this term, we will, I think that 157 euro-socialist deputies. Observe that countries in which we made a good score were those where the debate was the most cleavage. I observe that where comrades have governed in coalition, where they have significantly refocused, where they have more time to learn the lessons of the crisis that the Liberals, they have had failures similar to or worse than we know in France.
We have two historical tasks: preparing tomorrow how the French socialist left will regain power in France and prepare for the rebuilding of European social democracy.
That's why I think the answer to what we just experienced can not be a matter of design, fashion, changing device.
The answer can not be to repeat what we have often done: change a little speech, replace this with another friend and hope that everything will be better.
The problem we have is that we do not want.
And even when we say interesting things, people no longer believe in us.
the markets during the door-to-door campaigning, we were asked what we would do so different from the Liberals. And when it came to make proposals, we were asked if we were able to govern in spite of internal divisions.
We've all experienced. We fail to embody an alternative to the liberal model, or to make a credible alternate. We are all responsible for this failure and I do not exclude myself from this observation.
We now have a basic 17%. That gives us some reason to believe that we have a duty to initiate a new historical stage.
All Left parties have undertaken a task that is their own transcendence: the far left with the creation of the NPA, to our left with the creation of the Left Front, - Even if that party gets only 31,000 votes more than in 2004, though at the time there was a big vote helpful favorable to the Socialists - and the Greens on the side with the creation of Europe ecology is able to exceed what was previously their identity.
Our task today to put us also in the process of overtaking. It's my belief. I do not think this is just another bounce in internal casting around yet another different, that we will propose an alternative and credible alternative to the liberal model. So how
PS pass this over?
I think we should be overwhelmed by a political process leading to the formation of a common house of the left - in the words of Martin - with three subjects.
First, the project. I observe, that left everyone asking the same questions: the role of the state, the possible regulation at national and international protections, wages, the distribution capital - labor, protection of environment, etc..
We ask these questions in the same way. Of course, we do not hierarchically in the same way, but it should be easy to gather around a table of political leaders and activists of Left parties to discuss.
Second, the 2012 deadline. I am personally in favor of a single candidate of the left, but we must ask this question without preconditions and without imposing an agenda for discussion.
With one goal: to put us in position to beat Nicolas Sarkozy, on behalf of and with the support of working and middle classes.
Thirdly, the establishment of a common house of the left, regardless of its name, which effectively allows activists to speak, to confront.
If we get this over, without preconditions, with no desire to dominate, not dictate our own agenda, I think the PS found a way to rebuild and to again become the bearer of a political hope. I wish that we set this week that ambition. I wish that we propose publicly to our partners that offer of working together.
Thank you.

How To Connect Disconnected Cable
PS Why should you vote on June 7?
On 7 June, in a few days, held elections to elect our MEPs. These elections may appear to some as irrelevant because it is not clear what the European Parliament.
We Socialists are convinced that the contrary is an urgent need to vote. Why?
Reason number one: make a strong and coherent response to the crisis.
The economic crisis that affects us is unprecedented in its scope, its violence, its gravity. We all know of families affected by the daily difficulties (unemployment, purchasing power ...) because they are thousands.
The response by Nicolas Sarkozy and his government and Mr Barroso and the European Commission seems trivial and unfair: no recovery in consumption, any stimulus plan coordinated European level.
Voting in European elections, is choosing political change!
Make the choice of members of socialist
is defending the idea of a Recovery Plan and social rights at European level,
is choosing to designate members of a leftist at the head the commission!
Reason number two: supporting a European political project concrete
The Party of European Socialists - PES? is the only European force that has defined a common project for parties of 27 members. This change gives the European applied from the first 100 days of social and economic stimulus measures.
This joint project - the Manifesto - is a unique approach in Europe is a first step towards a political and social Europe!
what to do to change Europe in 100 days?
1) Establish a real economic recovery plan to fight against the crisis:
With 100 billion euros of measures to support consumption and investment.
3% of wealth on innovation, research and development for our future.
assistance to SMEs, companies most vulnerable for their adaptation to new standards (environmental, new markets for sustainable development ...).
2) Establish a social shield to restore purchasing power and fight against inequality:
A minimum income in each European country
protect and develop public services:
With a directive to prevent layoffs stock A
social progress clause that no directive can weaken our social rights. A copy
Europe on equality between men and women.
harmonization of tax EU countries: a rapprochement with
national legislation on fiscal matters and harmonization of corporation tax to stop offshoring.
Establish a true progressive tax rates to ensure the empowerment of public services (hospitals, education, health ...) with a fairer tax system.
3) Create 10 million jobs green, a new economic model of sustainable development and an industry that preserves jobs:
With a European Pact for employment development.
A "skills program" designed to prepare employees for tomorrow's jobs related to green technologies
A European program to develop renewable energies to no longer depend on oil
Developing energy efficiency to create jobs, especially in the work of building insulation, but also reduce expenditures by energy conservation.
act tomorrow to revive the economy, a social Europe, a new model of growth and green jobs,
is a vote for a political force that has a weight at European level, it
vote for a specific action plan changing our present and our future is to vote for a social Europe!
On 7 June, is a single day - a single round
I vote for the proposals of PES!
